Hi, I’m Emily. I have been both a sole proprietor (Hair by Emily Elsbury) booth renter in a barbershop (Kuts by KZ) and an employee for a full service salon (Bare Sugar Salon and Spa). • Only after having my daughter and returning from maternity leave did I realize it was time to take on the next career challenge: owning my own business and to fly solo. • I love my one-on-one time with my clients that sit in my chair. I enjoy getting to know each other and picking up where we left off in conversation from the last appointment. • I am not the 10 minute “in and out” haircutting type and you will sit in my chair for a good couple hours if I’m coloring your hair. I will offer you a shampoo with each service and I promise I will be offended if you decline. • All of the services I offer I enjoy doing. The crispiness of a man’s beard detail. The way women’s layers fall and bounce after being styled. How a smoothing treatment shines and the frizz is tamed. A good transformation whether it’s a hefty chop or a coloring service, those make me happy too. But I am a nerd when it comes to the science of your hair, so please be prepared for that. • I understand that I am not for everyone and I’m aware of that. If you’re new to me and we don’t vibe- that’s okay. I will be more than happy to help you find a better suited stylist for your needs. I always want what’s best for each and every client. I also promise I don’t have feelings for you to hurt, honesty is the best policy. • I also understand that schedules can be difficult to work with and I promise I’m always doing my best to be accommodating. I am willing to come in for you on one of my days off or to stay after my business hours, however those prices are increased. (Similar to how we pay extra to have packages expedited or we are willing to pay the up-charge for our sides at our favorite restaurants.) *Sunday/Wednesday - $70 flat fee added to your appointment. *After business hours - Service price(s) increase 15%Business Hours

Cancellation Policy
I charge a 75% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations with less than a 24 hour notice of the scheduled appointment.
